Every student experiences days when they don't want to practice or perform no matter how devoted they are. Every student wants to be recognized for their achievements. Recognition builds motivation to continue working, which creates greater skill and greater skill builds motivation to continue working!
Practice Awards Program
This program rewards students for achieving short, mid-term, and long-term practice goals. Because of this program, some of our students have now been practicing solidly for 2 years, 6 days a week!
I feel really proud and happy when I get a trophy for a practice award.

Performance Awards
This multi-tiered program recognizes students for their performances both at CSM's Concert, Recitals and Music Get Togethers and community events. Some of our students perform 6 times per year at CSM events and then find additional opportunities in the community.
